In any language,  discourse and medium is shown the operation of the  three  levels of meaning  that  correspond  to Peirce’s second trichotomy: icons, indexes and symbols. From the conceptualization about the significant body (Veron 1975) is an analytical account  of

how the body has been engraved in materials historically autonomous.
